Inspire Children to Think Big and Dream Big

Lions Clubs International is proud to introduce and support the ROAR innovative competition delivered by the award-winning 8billionideas.

What is ROAR? It's a PSHE programme focused on promoting an entrepreneurial spirit for all students, unlocking their innovative DNA. ROAR challenges your students to create a ‘World Changing Idea’.

Why does this matter? 🌎

ROAR enables young minds to think about the world in which they live. To inspire them to work in teams and use their imaginations to think of ideas that can change the world for the better.

Lions want to be a part of that future by assisting schools, teachers and the children to think big and to dream big with ideas that will benefit all of us in this ever changing world. Local Lions are supporting schools to enter ROAR 2025 subject to the availability of funds and to working with you.

In-school Final

You will host an In-school Final where students or teachers will vote for the best team who have created a brilliant ‘World Changing Idea’.

The winning team will need to record their video presentation, jingle and submit their photos to their District Final where a professional panel of judges will appoint the winner.

Eight winning teams from the District Finals will proudly present their idea nationally at National Awards Day held via Zoom.
